The Investment Manager is a primary point of contact for clients to access the entire suite of investment capabilities, insights and solutions offered by Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. This is achieved by working in close partnership with the Relationship Manager in the day-to-day planning and servicing for the client. The individual leverages the insight and expertise of the Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Chief Investment Office and the global and regional investment committees to provide advice around long-term thematic investment opportunities, short-term tactical trades and asset allocation. The Investment Manager employs a wide range of asset classes and capabilities, leveraging the knowledge from dedicate product specialists, to address clients needs holistically, including lending and financing, deposits, discretionary and advisory portfolio management solutions, capital markets, private markets, alternative investments and wealth planning. Investment Manager will have accountability for total investment AUM, revenue, asset retention and contribution towards business mix goals

Your key responsibilities:

  • DB IPB Capital Markets Department in Asia is seeking a high caliber professional to join the team as Equity Product & Solutions Specialist, based in Hong Kong.

  • Provide professional advices and sales coverage in CM Equity business to IPB clients

  • Responsible for delivering Equity business revenue targets (both team target and individual target) and increasing wallet shares from existing clients

  • Able to lead investment discussions in one-on-one meetings & group meetings and able to host clients seminars & events to drive the thematic product campaigns

  • Partner up with the Relationship Manager and Investment Manager to cover IPB clients as strategic advisor

  • Support the Relationship Managers in their new client acquisition efforts through participation in prospecting, client pitches and showcasing Deutsche Bank Wealth Management capabilities

  • Monitor clients asset allocation across investments and provide ideas for rebalancing across product spectrum based on CIO view

  • Proactively seek to manage and control risks while maximizing financial returns in line with regulations

  • Act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics and conduct flagging and managing reputational risks and conflicts issues

  • Teamwork and Cooperation across the Bank required

  • Mentor and coach junior team members

Your skills and experience:

  • 10 or more years of relevant investment experience

  • Superior investment acumen with a strong understanding of Equity asset class across stocks, Index / ETF and derivatives

  • Proven experience in Equity investment advisory and sales, with good understanding of private clients and U/HNW clients needs

  • Superior analytical skills as well as being detail-oriented on both strategy and execution

  • Excellent client-facing advisory & sales skills with proven track-record

  • Bachelor or above Degree holder, preferably in Finance, Economics or related discipline

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English

  • Relevant local licenses and qualifications

  • Self-motivated and passionate about Private Banking business in Asia

  • CPWP and CFA holder preferred
