About the Role
The Business Development team is akey driver of sales execution and performance across existing and new accounts.As a Major Account Executive, you are the engine room for revenues through thecreation and implementation of sales strategies, client engagement andrelationship management. You will be accountable for the achievement of salestargets, ensuring the future success of the business.
Delivering Sales Strategy
Developmentand implementation of a comprehensive plan, taking into account micro andmacro-economic factors that impacts customers’ buying cycle
Bethe driver of RFQ/RFP opportunities and ensuring healthy sales pipeline withconsistent proposal submissions
Existing Client Growth and NewCustomer Development
Proactivelymanage and maximize commercial growth of portfolio aligned
Buildingof new networks and increasing the size of aligned portfolio
Effective client engagement andunderstanding critical client business models to identify customer needs
Supply continuous feedback to bothinternal and external stakeholders through business and performance reviews
Be the face of UPS to the customerand the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders
Effective teaming with the relevantCorporate and Regional functions
To ensure your success in the role, you will
Possess an undergraduate degree ofany discipline
Have at least 1 year of experience ina client facing or Account Management role
Have a proven commercial track recordin developing clients and establishing a trusted advisor relationship
Have experience in building clientrelationships along with excellent communication skills.
Have used CRM systems such asSalesforce
Be an energetic, driven individual, asuccessful negotiator and demonstrate results-oriented mind-set.
Have the ability to work in afast-paced and dynamic environment
Have experience in Supply Chain,Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry will be an added advantage
Incumbents with experience in the Big4 as a management or trade consultant without prior sales experience are highlyencouraged to apply
