Talent Development / Employee Relations Supervisor

Working location: IMP Office, Shanghai

Job Summary
The Talent Development & Employee Relationship Supervisor manages from the talent development, succession development plan as well as performance management to ensure the quality performance management; the supervisor also need supervise the initiative and implementation and follow up of China Human Capital Committee related projects, thus to cooperate to drive business results. The supervisor also needs supervise the employee relationship process to ensure creating a good environment of maintaining good employee relationships, as well as encourage good morale.

Job Duties
Manages Projects

Manages project lifecycles, including project scope, resources, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building, and deployment to see projects from beginning-to-end.
Forwards project documents to stakeholders to obtain sign-off, agreement on project cost, and needed resources.
Develops project plans (i.e., detailed plan, milestones, and work breakdown structures) and assigns tasks to resources to ensure that the project will be completed on time and according to specifications.
Designs and implements communication plans to ensure those affected by projects are informed and updated.
Follows up with assigned resources formally (e.g., status meetings, etc.) and informally to continuously manage the productivity of the team, project timelines, and deliverables.
Balances multiple projects and deployment schedules to meet stakeholder goals and expectations.

Provides Career and Talent Development Reports

Works with Talent Development Managers to determine career and succession planning query requirements and standard reports.
Conducts data quality audits to ensure updated career and succession information is accurate in the talent management system.
Collaborates to provide talent management reports (e.g., leadership profiles, succession data, development plans, etc.) to Talent Development Managers.
Monitors career management metrics to measure the effectiveness of the performance management process, career progressions, and development programs.
Collaborates with Human Resources (HR) Technology and HR Information Management to maintain consistent performance improvement planning data across the organization.
Partners with HR Technology and HR Information Management to provide business unit managers with integrated career management data (e.g., promotions, talent tracking, etc.).
Be responsible for performance management monitor and provide consultation to departments
Be responsible for digital system development, make research to collect department needs and external marketing trends, contact vendor to testify and work out on the development and implementation


Supervises and Develops Others

Determines employees’ training needs to produce continuous development plans.
Provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
Conducts performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement.
Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals.
Resolves individual and group performance issues in accordance with UPS’s policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.

Assist on Performance Management

Determines employees’ training needs to produce continuous development plans.
Provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
Conducts performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement.
Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals.
Resolves individual and group performance issues in accordance with UPS’s policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.

Report Generation

Accesses appropriate databases, writes information queries, and produces customized reports. Interprets and clarifies data, as necessary.
Possesses ability to generate simple reports using basic functions in software, and/or writing basic queries; identifies information required to complete reports and identifies existing reports generated by others.
Generates reports in appropriate format using basic software; reviews reports to ensure accuracy and completeness; identifies issues with report generation (e.g., missing variables, incorrect data, etc.)

Manage Employee Relations Process

Designs ER reports to effectively convey performance information.
Be responsible for the implementation of ER related policy and strategy
Supervise ER Process and ensure the timely handling with quality to cooperate implement projects with department to maintain good employee relationship
Design survey with available tools and result analysis and provide insights and suggestions
Job Requirements

Education: bachelor and above, preferred major in human resources, administration;
Strong communication skill in verbal and writing in Chinese and English;
English proficiency: high
Good interpersonal skill;
High/strong potential with passion, learning agility, ability etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (word, excel, access and PowerPoint).
Analytical skills and provide insight and suggestions
