Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with relationship managers to customize financing solutions, in order to help corporate clients reduce their financing costs or currency risks and seize investment opportunities.

  • Be able to execute orders from clients and maintain the corporate client relationship

  • Provide timely information/insights to supervisors regarding market opportunities and changes of corporate clients needs

  • Conduct regulated activities under the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission regulation, such as advising on securities, dealing in securities, executing orders from corporate clients and providing analyses on equities, bonds or other markets

  • Achieve annual financial target

  • Plan and conduct internal trainings as well as developing strategies and marketing plans for existing treasury products, and support other departments to launch marketing campaigns

  • Comply with local laws, regulations and other guidance as well as bank's policies, risk management and operating procedures in order to control risks, and report any problems to supervisors or related departments when necessary and promptly follow up.

  • Comply with regulators rules and bank's policies regarding money laundering and due diligence. The corresponding performance will be evaluated.

Requirements:

  • Well understand treasury products including their basic principles, features and risk factors

  • Excellent analytical skills and a good sense of market practice

  • Strong planning, coordination and communication skills. Think logically and be able to gain clients trust

  • Licensed for dealing in securities (Type 1) and advising on securities (Type 4)

  • Other necessary professional qualification licenses for treasury marketing

  • At least 2 years experience in financial services industry including 1 year experience in Treasury Marketing.

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin

  • A strong market sense and be able to proactively provide professional advice to clients

  • A strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn regarding the innovation and application of financial products

  • A team player with professional conduct
