Marketing Operation Manager - Security & Compliance , Greater China
Amazon Web Services, Inc. is leading the next paradigm shift in computing that is changing how the world consumes IT resources. AWS is seeking an experienced and talented Technical Operations manager reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, Greater China region. The individual will own technical validation of marketing agencies and vendors, lead AWS info-security review process, facilitate new technology enhancement from existing platforms and tools, and introducing market trending automation tools/process/system that would enable marketing operational performance. The candidate will be measured against business acumen, ownership on operational plans priorities and accuracy, project management, communication effectiveness, and subsequently quantifiable marketing productivity or efficiency improvement.
Role and Responsibilities
Info-Security/Application/Pentest Review Process
· Initiate, own and drive AWS internal security review process upon on-boarding a new vendor service, enhancement of existing platform, or internal technical audit on vendor.
· Project manage on each review cycle to ensure delivery on time and quality of work.
· Communicate with global counterparts, get resource support needed, facilitate review process with vendor.
· Simplify and improve review process with global alignment.
· Conduct regular update session to report review status and explain blockers with action or support needed.
Marketing Technology Automation
· Actively engage with leading marketing vendors to access new marketing channels and automation tools/process/systems.
· Provide technical validation and prepare assessment on ensuring integration with existing AWS process is within compatibility.
· Negotiate with vendor and global counterparts for integration of new marketing technological tool/process/systems.
· Facilitate the on-boarding and implementation of new tool.
· Cost and Benefit analysis, tracking and reporting on productivity or efficiency upon new automation implemented.
Basic Qualifications :
The right candidate should carry a learning and curious attitude towards marketing technological tool/process/platform, and insisting the highest standard on maintaining world-class but somehow complicated technical environment. The candidate should equipped with experience in communicating and managing system/platform security review process, in B2B high tech industry. There is fundamental requirement that the candidate has software development cycle knowledge and understand technical back end logic and data flow process.
Ability to work cross-functionally and has time management skill in task prioritization to meet its requirement is an instinct to be successful on this role. With that said, being flexible and agile to adapt quickly in new situation of a highly dynamic environment would be an advantage.
Sensitive or has extensive knowledge about the know-how of current trending marketing technology service/product or able to collect latest information. The candidate must actively look for effective and automation tools to enable marketing operations process.
Communication skill is required on English & Mandarin. It would be great if the candidate would able to translate a technical narrative into a laymen sentence.
This role is open for Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou cities.
Preferred Qualifications :
· The candidate has experience in involvement of software development cycle from scratch that the outcome service/product has scaled up to 1 million records or above, or serving more than 1000 users.
· Worked in a software house that is ISO certified, which has a standard process to manage a software product development.
· Advanced degree (MS, MA, MBA) on computer science major.
· The candidate has experience to work with English speaker counterparts for projects that expands more than 6 months period.
· The candidate has know-how knowledge on existing internet industry marketing tool/technology.
· He/she can network with developer community to get latest technology to solve marketing related digitization process.
· Cheerful and self-motivated.
