An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Director to join our Corporate Operations Group Business Services team based in Hong Kong.
Our mission is to provide a superior environment for all our employees across our Asia region. We partner with a third party but need you to oversee all support activities within the office portfolio ensuring an integrated approach. Reporting into the Asia Head of Corporate Real Estate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our workplace environment.
You will be required to take a strong and consistent approach to managing our buildings and Corporate Real Estate services, with a commitment to quality, work health and safety, governance, assurance and risk management. You will build business relationships at all levels to ensure services are fit for purpose and you will be accountable for quality assurance and contract compliance as related to associated work orders. You will oversee preparation of predictive and planned preventive maintenance programmes to maintain and enhance engineering systems availability and minimise risks. You will be responsible for strategic planning of large engineering and operations projects and accountable for ensuring these programmes are carried out with a high level of service and commerciality.
All real estate support activities with the Asia office portfolio across facilities management, engineering and workplace health and safety as well as operational risk obligations will sit with you. You will set clear strategic direction across your remit whilst not being afraid to roll up your sleeves when required. You will seek out data driven insights and embrace innovation and transformation.
To be successful in this role you should have a Business, Real Estate, Construction, Project Management or Engineering degree. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial building services engineering design with the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. While a qualified engineer is preferable, you should have project management and commercial planning of real estate projects, or facilities management experience. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, project planning and execution and budget management will be important in this role. You should also have strong report writing, verbal and written communication skills as you will be working with a variety of external and internal stakeholders.
