In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Talent COE projects from talent acquisition, talent development, talent management to organization development. This will be a great role if you are keen to develop your talent COE expertise with breadth and you are open to different types of project work in the Talent COE space. you'll assist the Executive Recruiting and Integration team with the execution of an end-to-end executive talent recruiting strategy. Levering executive recruiting best practices, you will help passive and active recruiting efforts to proactively attract and select the best executive talent to ensure leadership diversity and fulfill business capability needs. This position involves partnering with senior leaders and the Executive Talent, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition & Onboarding teams to manage executive searches, negotiate offers, and ensure a white glove experience for candidates and key internal stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities/Immediate Projects
  • Executive Onboarding & Integration
Project description: if getting a new executive hired is 50% of success, integrating the new executives into the organization contributes to the other 50% of the success. As overall program manager, you will play an integral part in setting up our newly hired executives for success while executing best-in-class experiences for them from pre-hire through their first year of employment. You will help refine existing onboarding processes and identify opportunities for new experiences that support the acculturation and enablement of our newly hired executives. This role involves building strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders including newly hired executives, hiring managers, HRBO, Talent COE team and the global and China executive talent acquisition team.
Key deliverables:
  • First-year new hired executive onboarding and integration program design
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to implement the program design and iterate based on feedback from participants and stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience transfer to other team members for continuous program implementation
  • Graduate Trainee Program
Project description: attracting and developing early career talents is an important talent strategy in Ford China. We recently revamped our campus hire program to be more diversified and tailor made for talents with different skillsets with different career development paths. We need you as overall Graduate Trainee program manager to design best-in-class campus hire development programs, ultimately delivering the vision of accelerating the development of these promising talents. You will be working closely with business, HRBP and Talent COE team during this project.
Key deliverables:
  • One comprehensive graduate trainee development program design encompassing three different campus graduate development programs, namely generic Graduate Trainee Program, Marketing Sales & Services Management Trainee Program and high-tech high-demand technical talents Blue Star Program, using 70-20-10 development framework to ensure best in class participants experience and delivering program objectives.
  • Specifically, you will work with Talent Development team to design the learning offerings for different early talent programs and monitor the implementation effectiveness of the learning offering delivery
  • Design guidelines and processes for non-learning program elements i.e. rotation guideline, mentoring program, cross-functional projects, network connections, etc.
  • Provide expertise, direction and coaching to those responsible for executing programs and initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree, related Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years demonstrated success in managing talent development programs and projects
  • High learning agility
  • Exceptional communication skill in English and Chinese
  • Proficient project management skill
  • Resourcefulness, creativity and self-motivation
  • Highly collaborative working style and proven history building relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with assessment tools is a plus
