Job Description

Education, Knowledge and skills:
1. Bachelor or above degree: EE or ME
2. Major in mechatronics/industry automation or equivalent
3. Understand the working principle and key points of typical industry automation components and modules such as:
4. Breaker, Relay, contactor, Phase detector, Safety relay etc.
Typical EMS, EMO circuit
5. Optical, capacitance, inductive proximity sensor, magnet switch sensor, NTC temperature sensor etc.
6. Step motor, servo motor, DD motor, Linear motor or linear motion module etc. Capable of motion tuning.
7. Solenoid valve, cylinder, gear box etc.
8. Precision conveyor, robot transfer systems
9. Industrial cameras, machine vision systems
10. Familiar with typical industry field bus communication protocol such as EtherCAT, Mechatrolink II
11. Familiar with typical industry automation system structure, control sequence and logic
12. Familiar with typical metal, nonmetal material characteristics for simple applications
13. Familiar with the concept of CAD and programing
14. Capable of quality control data analysis by using JUM or Minitap for MAS analysis
15. Familiar with basic concept of Computer Image Processing and typical Algorithm usage
16. Familiar with data bases, such as MySql , basic operation
Experience, responsibilities:
1. 5 years working experience.
2. Must have: experience with industrial automation tool installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting experience
3. Lead , supervise and develop complex projects that have a substantial mix of mechanical, electrical, physics, algorithms and software design and addend design input to meet market requirement specifications and hardware & software specifications.
4. Writing detail specifications that cover all aspects of subsystem modules including interfaces to the product
5. Sourcing and qualification of electro optical or electro mechanical components and submodules
6. Must have: Proven experience in problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of, complex engineering problems.
7. Provide Beta site support, related to installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of a new hardware, software or process on a customer site, provide the solution or input for solution if further modification or development is necessary.
8. Drive failure analysis to identify the root cause and work with coworkers for long term solution.
9. Provide advanced training to field team
10. Develop new procedure and Best Known Method(BKMs)
11. Practice engineering reviews
12. Partner with Safety, Quality & Reliability group to review and address top field issues.
13. Partner with AGS to setup critical parts level
14. Lead, execute and supervise customers DEMO
15. Partner with sales to identify customer technical requirement and sketch the solution schema
