  • Using Protocol analyzer and O-scope to analyze and debug signal integrity issues between various Host and memory.
  • Understanding highspeed signal theory, has ability to understand, clarify the behavior of signal in PHY level.
  • Work closely with Micron firmware team, product design team and BU application team, understanding memory subsystem (e.g. eMMC/UFS) behavior under Linux/Android system and their interaction with Micron firmware algorithm, have the capability to debug from the firmware/linux/file system levels.
  • Work with Chipset Vendors/Customers (Qualcomm/MTK/Exynos and etc) to enable and validate Micron mobile memory products including eMMC, UFS and uMCP.
  • Help team for new system feature data collection and reverse engineering.
  • Review, track, document, and summarize test results, generating reports and documentation

  • BS or MS in Electrical/Computer/Automation Engineering, minimum 3-year solid experience in high-speed signal, PCB design or Linux system (Hardware) development.
  • Experience with Signal simulation, familiar with popular EDA tools.
  • Good Analog and Digital circuit knowledge.
  • Knowledge or experience of PCIe, NVMe, SCSI protocols
  • Experience in C/C++ and/or assembler programming, emulators and simulation tools.
  • Understanding of Linux/android Operating systems & file systems is a plus.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, good team work and communication skills
  • The ability to work with other engineers across multiple disciplines, as well as customers
  • The ability to apply creative and inventive ideas to resolve difficult issues
  • The ability to travel both locally and overseas
  • Knowledge or experience of memory product including eMMC, UFS, uMCP and LPDDR is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Oscilloscopes and/or Logic analyzers is a plus
