Plans/manages technical Supply Chain programs or projects to meet specific objectives or goals. Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program. Works on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or service. Identifies tasks, determines dependencies, identifies and assigns specific resources, communicates expectations to team members, obtains task effort and duration estimates from team members, and creates/tracks the project schedule. Assesses risk and identifies issues. Monitors progress against schedule. Coordinates resources with other functions. Reviews user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity. Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform nonrepetitive, analytical work. Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Holds a degree in a technical field of study.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic in regards to a career in global supply chain (GSC), and supplier chain management (SCM). Job scope includes but not limited to, supplier interfacing, project management (PM), commodity spec development, product life cycle (PLC), and using these skillsets in support of CCG Intel Notebook reference designs (RFD). The applicant should be interested in developing commodity market intelligence, build supplier network, form supplier enabling strategy using CQAT (cost, quality, availability, technology), engaging battery suppliers for RFI/RFQ, support commodity specification development or selection, create validation plan, and managign commodity project development during NPI stage. Additionally the candidate will be responsible to interface with suppliers and CCG internal customers in support of off-the-shelf commodity products. In general, aprox 30 percent bandwidth will be for off-the-shelf, and aprox 70 percent for new battery development as a battery material engineer. Requirement: - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in electrical mechanical or chemical engineering + experience - Knowledge on battery technology and ecosystem is a plus - Work across culture with suppliers and internal stakeholders in various geographies - Experienced in project management - Knowledge of factory operations, mfg process, QA/QC audit, excursion management are a plus - Good at multi-tasking and priority settingInside this Business Group
