Duties:

Stage Technician (Electronics Repair & Maintenance, Prop Repair & Maintenance, Stage Tech, Lighting & Slings, Lasers Effects, Integrated Show Control, Fireworks and Special Effects) is responsible for supporting the daily performances and festivals at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The following are optional work areas for the technical team.

Electronic Equipment RepairAnd Maintenance

  • Responsible for maintenance and entertainment Business equipment, mainly including lighting, sound, film, integrated performance control system, special effects, props and communication system

  • Familiar with sound, film, lighting Equipment, Windows/Linux/Mac OS and Network Systems

Prop MaintenanceRepairAnd Maintenance

Laser Effects

  • Laser system testing and setup under supervision To meet the performance specifications

  • Set and calibrate the laser effect angle according to the performance program
  • Routine preventive maintenance and maintenance of laser effect equipment to maintain performance quality

Comprehensive Show Control

Fireworks and special effects
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of live performances, including handling, preparation, arrangement and loading of related equipment

  • Loading and unloading fireworks items and equipment in accordance with company safety guidelines and related regulations, and handling the installation and removal of normal or non-functioning pyrotechnic items

  • Have an established understanding of pyrotechnic control signal indication and related wiring systems
warehousing
  • Mainly responsible for handling equipment entry and exit records, including equipment loading and packaging
  • Responsible for equipment, tool maintenance and proper record keeping
  • Perform warehouse inventory regularly and submit For management reports


Those with more work experience will be considered for more senior positions Basic requirements:

  • Secondary or above

  • At least 1 Years of theatre backstage work or live entertainment operations or equipment management
    experience

Ideal:

  • Higher Diploma/Associate Degree in Multimedia & Entertainment Arts/Stage & Set Design or other related disciplines
  • Hong Kong driver's license (Class 1 and 2) is preferred
  • heavy machine operation license is preferred
  • Special effects technician license (group B) is preferred

  • registered electrical workers and Ping An card holders are preferred
