POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the Customer Engagement Center (CEC) Finance team of FBP-BMSC, the Staff Accountant supports the BMSC and Global Finance organizations by focusing on areas which include the following areas for the Guangzhou CEC: Accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger processing/month-end close, VAT invoice and taxes. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
Accounts Receivable
▪ Issue monthly billing
▪ Issue VAT Invoice by VAT system for customer
▪ Manage Account Receivable collections process to ensure timely collections and billing resolutions.
Accounts payable
▪ Review invoices and supporting to prepare payment voucher, check associates’ reimbursement supporting and ensure alignment with company policy
▪ Manage the fund transfer process and appropriate journal entries
▪ Prepare monthly reports and provide analyses
General Ledger
▪ Post transactions for A/R & A/P to GL. Assist with month- end closing process
▪ Prepare BSR and supporting documents, clear entry to zero for A/R & A/P in SAP.
▪ Check the data match with other side entities monthly/yearly.
Miscellaneous
▪ Assist on annual audit; prepare relevant documents and reports
▪ Conduct annual renewal process for company certificates
▪ Manage VAT input invoice and verify with tax bureau monthly.
▪ Develop/prepare company statistical report and submit to government monthly/quarterly.
▪ Conduct monthly forecasting and apply monthly funding request except payroll.
▪ Provide monthly vendor changing report
▪ Assist with Fixed Assets inventory confirmation process
▪ Other duties as assigned. CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong skills in Microsoft office applications, including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Able to maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION
• Baccalaureate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
