Amazon Global Selling is looking for a smart and ambitious Senior Seller Consultant to join its China team based in Shanghai in seller business. The objective of the Senior Seller consultant is to deliver new business growth and maximize revenue generation across Amazon's suite of products for merchants. Now seller business accounts for more than 40% of all unit sales on Amazon websites globally. Including Recruiting and launching sellers on Amazon's third party marketplace together with cross function team, this role will focus on seller account management and Amazon product features adoption. You will analyze traffic and sales data to identify opportunities to help sellers succeed on the marketplace.
Your superior communication, organizational and technical skills will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, where you will have the autonomy to take full control and responsibility for achieving our business objectives.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Develop new seller recruiting strategy by analyzing the seller performance and competitive landscape to optimize resources allocation.
· Partner with Amazon Global (IN) leaders and develop seller recruitment strategy. Review and monitor performance and sales of various types of sellers in order to provide them with consulting advice to grow their business.
· Feedback other teams within Merchant and Amazon Global about lessons learned and actively interact with Amazon Global to improve China seller growth in global site.
· Lead projects to improve customer and seller experiences or to improve China Global selling Amazon merchant service
· To participate in/or lead initiatives/projects with cross function teams to improve both internal team’s efficiencies and external customer and seller experience
Basic Qualifications :
Proven track record of success in negotiation, sales and account management, product management for over 8 years · Highly organized and results oriented · Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese, English able to present in front of C-level.
· Natural leadership skills with the experience and seniority to help recruit and train a high performing team
· Excellent analytical and planning abilities to design and oversee programmatic business development efforts.
· Track record of successful on initiating, proposing cross functional projects and drive to implement.
· Team player with strong persuasion skills able to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
· Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on tactical work to get things done quickly
Preferred Qualifications :
· Ideally experience of working within e-commerce or retail.
· MBA or other professional qualification would be advantageous.
