Sr. External Communications Specialist - Honeywell China External Communications
As a core member of Honeywell China's External Communications Centre of Excellence team, Sr. External Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering engaging communications content to achieve communications and business objectives. This role oversees media communications, cultivates and manages relationships with key media outlets, develops and implements plans to support company's business priorities and shape a favorable brand in the market.
This position reports to Sr. Director, China Corporate Communications & Marketing and is based in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement media communication strategy in China to enhance company reputation and thought leadership in a focused and strategic approach.
Maintain and cultivate strategic partnership and solid relations with influential media outlets in China.
Work with internal stakeholders and external agency to draft, edit and distribute press materials to promote the company's media profile, in collaboration with other peer functions to jointly boost company brand image and increase share of voice.
Manage business leaders media engagement and ensure messages and approaches are in line with communications strategy.
Seek out editorial opportunities to compose and edit compelling stories aligned with communications priorities for external use.
Drive and manage key media communications campaigns, projects and activities to engage key media stakeholders through integrated approaches.
Act as the duty manager of Honeywell China Press Office, respond and coordinate media requests and inquiries.
You Must Have
Bachelor's degree or above in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Foreign Language Studies or other related fields.
At least 5-8 years of experience in Communications and Public Relations, familiar with media environment in China and with solid media resources.
A proven record of executing high-impact communications projects and strong media relations expertise.
