Job Responsibilities
  • Issue investigation and follow up to ensure issues are solved
  • Manage incident and status reporting
  • Act as Application DBA to review and QA on SQL written by other teams
  • Provide production on-call support
  • Facilitate to ensure system security controls which conform to company standards

Job Requirements:
  • Experience & Qualifications
    • University graduates in any computer-related discipline
    • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
    • Solid development experience in COBOL, Oracle PL/SQL, IIS, .Net, Oracle DB, and/or mobile would be an advantage
    • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving production problems;
    • Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
    • Ability to detect and troubleshoot system performance related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
    • Experience in MPF, insurance or wealth management projects are helpful
  • Knowledge / Skills
    • Knowledge of the MPF, life insurance industry preferred
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
    • Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
