We are looking for a SOC Design Engineering Manager to develop and lead an engineering team composed of SOC design engineers. The candidate will lead the team with responsibilities in RTL to GDS physical design/structural design of complex ASIC/SOC and may include but not limited to: - Constraint understanding, generation, clock and timing closure - Synthesis with Synopsys Design Compiler DCT or industry equivalent - Multiple Power Domain Analysis using standard Power Formats UPF/CPF - Place and Route and clock tree synthesis with Synopsys ICC2 - Static Timing Analysis with Synopsys Primetime - Formal equivalence - Layout Verification and DRC analysis - Reliability Verification - Working with 3rd party IP vendors As a manager, the candidate will set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - More than 10 years working experience in Physical Design/Structural Design/back-end design and/or integration, with more than 4 years in technical leadership position. - Strong understanding of ASIC design implementation, methodologies, design flows, and design collaterals. - Good interpersonal skills including written, verbal and presentation communications. - Good organizational skills in building and managing effective relationships with technical peers and customers. - Prior experience in managing a technical team, managing Contingency Workers, and/or program management experience is a plus.Inside this Business Group
