Job Your role
You will be a senior member of the Private Markets sales team in Hong Kong, a dedicated team providing best-in-class products and solutions to our clients.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
. Be the senior Private Markets specialist within our Advisory & Sales team and represent the capability in WM Greater China
. Drive sales of Private Markets funds, as single managers or portfolios, to our clients of UBS Wealth Management
. Act as client-facing specialist for Private Markets investments and be able to explain the Private Markets product suite and how Private Markets can be a strategic component of client's portfolio
. Manage the sales process of new product launches and provide after-sales on existing product range (e.g. organizing roadshows, order taking, after-sales support)
. Educate Client Advisors on operational aspects to invest/switch Private Markets products and ensure technical aspects are fully understood and adhered to (e.g. prospectus, T&Cs, guideline, limitations)
. Lead client meetings and presentations to articulate the merits of investment in the asset class, and how specific solutions may be appropriate for a client's portfolio
. Gather feedback and insights from relationship managers and clients to help the development of new private equity products
. Ensure clients receive excellent sales and after sales experience, in collaboration with other Advisory & Sales teams, as well as our Chief Investment Office

Your team
. The team of four Hong Kong-based Private Markets specialists is embedded within our Advisory & Sales function and drives sales with Hong Kong domiciled UHNW and HNW Client Advisors
. Collaborate with Chief Investment Office, other Advisory & Sales specialists and product partners to drive sales strategy and execution to increase sales effectiveness and efficiency, and deliver the best solutions to our clients
. Ensure that the client performance and client interest form the core principle of the sales team.
Your expertise
. Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in wealth management institution/private bank and in a Private Markets sales role
. Proven track record in sales and with experience in marketing to Asian clients
. Strong communicator and strategic thinker with presentation and organization skills
. Achiever who can translate strategy into plans and plans into actions
. Credibility around Private Markets products and managers, and sales experience is crucial
. Ability to speak English and Mandarin or other regional languages would be an advantage
