Job Description


Reporting to Head of Segment & Product Management, you will be responsible for formulating strategies and implementing business plan to grow investment and securities business for retail banking, developing investment products and services for both retail and private banking.
Responsibilities:
  • Formulate strategies to grow overall investment and securities business for mass and HNW segments, including development of new products, new customer segments, niche industry, new markets and new sales channels
  • Develop business plans to drive investment products and services to meet business targets
  • Manage and work closely with internal and external business partners/product providers to provide quality products and services to the bank's customers
  • Oversee wealth management projects to drive enhancement on investment/securities products and services for the relevant systems, relevant documentation, selling process and sales support tools
  • Launch competitive products, services, promotion and conduct evaluation & review to meet different market segment needs
  • Develop and control the quality of customer communication in relation to the products under management
  • Work with business partners and advertising agency on above-the-line and below-the-line marketing communication pieces and campaign execution
  • Control and direct investment product and securities team to ensure effective implementation of planned marketing programs and conduct evaluation & review as planned, and ensure efficient use of the approved marketing budget
  • Actively monitor and manage product and keep track of market intelligence
  • Coordinate with sales channels and other departments to facilitate quality sales and after-sales service delivery to customers and to maximize the effectiveness of sales campaigns
  • Manage the relevant regulatory requirements and reporting
  • Provide guidance and coaching to subordinates as required to ensure that they are competent to perform their jobs

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Degree holder in Finance, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 12 years of solid experience in product development preferably in banking industry
  • Strong and proven marketing and communication skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and attentive to details
  • Good interpersonal and project management skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
