Job Description


Full chip randoms team uses random methodology to do functional verification at GPU full chip level, both compute and graphics. Full chip randoms works as a safety net before GPU is taped out. With GPU is becoming is more and more complex, full chip random tests becomes more and more important.This is a job full of challenge, opportunity, and a lot of fun. This is a team where we learn from each other, help each other and supporteach other.We have a strong and experienced team here and we want to see more people joining us.
What you'll be doing:

  • Study next generation GPU architecture and state-of-the-art new GPU compute/graphics features.

  • Use random approach to validate and verify new GPU architecture and complicated compute/graphics features.

  • Communicate with GPU architecture designers to make random testing plan.

  • Design and develop random methodology and infrastructure to generate random tests.

  • Run and debug random tests in various platforms, e.g., functional simulator, RTL, emulator.

  • Design innovative tools to improve the efficiency of GPU architecture validation and verification

What we need to see:

  • Solid knowledge of computer science, with the focus on computer graphics and/or computer architecture.

  • Good understanding of GPU concept and pipeline, in terms of Graphics processing and parallel computing.

  • Good Linux and C++ debugging experience.

  • BSEE, BSCSE, or equivalent required. MS or PhD is a plus.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Random system design and work experience is a plus.
