Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:- Review customer specification and clarify customer requirement
- Recommend design solution / schematic
- Provide unique, sole source, critical component list
- Identify alternative sources list
- Issue ECR for BOM (Electrical parts) release
- Participate in the Costed-BOM (Electrical)draft
- Generate electrical test plan
- Provide PCB layout proposal
- Provide magnetic parts requirement
- Provide Functionality / EMC / Reliability test report
- Provide failure analysis report
- Conduct electrical bench test and release test report
- Conduct failure analysis to electrical failure mode
- Drive, monitor the corrective & preventive action to highlighted failure mode
- Generate ECR / ECO
- Provide onsite engineering support for NPI build
Here is some of what you'll need (required):- Major in power electronics or electronics engineering or automation related engineering
- Have over 4 years power supply design and development experiences
- Master switching power supply theory/converter topology/power devices application/automation
- Know well about electrical circuit design/PCB layout/design for EMC/safety/thermal/DFM/reliability
- Be familiar with PSU project development process and design cycle
- Be familiar with EDA tools such as PADS, MATHCAD, SIMETRICS, or similar tools
- Be fluent in reading and writing English
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:- Have experiences with development of server PSU/desktop power supply/telecom PSU
- Have experiences with development of battery backup products
- Have experiences with development of DC UPS products
- Have experiences with development of high power adaptor/high power smart charger
