Bring your career aspirations to life with AIA!Reporting to the Associate Director, Capital Management/ Senior Manager, Capital Management/ Manager, Capital Management, responsible for preparing and analysing the financial performance of the company with respect to the capital efficiency and solutions, deliver the results with quality and in timely manner
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Produce analyses and recommendations based on the capital management framework to support risk-based business, financial and investment decision making
  • Produce analyses related to regulatory and economic capital requirements to support the recommendation of bonus and crediting rates.
  • Project the capital position of the company on regulatory and economic basis. Analyse capital solutions such as reinsurance and solutions offer by investment bank to manage ALM position of Par and Non-Par funds that optimise the capital requirements.  Work closely with Investment and Actuarial Department to implement capital solutions
  • Perform the production of financial information and the regular capital reporting that assigned to Capital Management Department.  Analyse the results to identify financial risk of the company if any. Work closely with Actuarial, Investment and Risk on analysing the capital related implications of upcoming regulatory changes if applicable.
  • Ensure the compliance of various capital and risk management requirement from Group Office and regulators on daily work.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirement.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • University / College graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or relevant subject plus at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good progress in Actuarial professional examination, close to attaining ASA or equivalent
  • Good analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess business acumen, be innovative and self-driven.
  • Knowledge in insurance products and various financial reporting bases
  • Knowledge in asset liability management and economic based capital regime will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Business Software and Actuarial Software

The incumbent is required to obtain relevant license if the job involves in regulated activities
