We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Actuarial Analyst.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Conduct actuarial analytic related studies
  • Be responsible for daily actuarial working, mainly financial reporting and other actuarial analytic related issues
  • Propose and review the new methodology, assumption and model development
  • Comply with regulatory requirement and IHO risk management framework including IFIM
  • Ensure the proper control in place as complied with the SOX and IHO standards
  • Provide support to Model and Financial Analytics teams, including valuation of new product/methodology/assumptions conversion onto the Prophet system, implementation of new methodology and assumptions and conduct the UAT in accordance with Group standards
  • Assist in implementation of IFRS 17 reporting process from Actuarial perspective
  • Support new product assessment and methodology and assumption setting in regards to the IFRS 17 framework
  • Supervise and train junior staff
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in an actuarial role at a global insurance firm University graduate in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline
  • Qualified Actuaries preferred
  • Corporate actuarial may be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills

Experienced candidate can be considered as an Assistant Actuarial Manager.
