Job Title
Senior Accountant
Overview
The Controllership team is looking for a Senior Accountant to take charge of accounting key responsibilities and ensuring compliance with finance related regulatory requirements. In addition, to work with Joint Venture ( JV) team to deliver and meet corporate reporting timelines. The ideal candidate is independent, intellectually curious, analytical and highly motivated with the ability to integrate accounting principles with organization practices and processes.
Role
• Responsible for month end close; including review and propose adjustments to align JV financials from China GAAP to US GAAP
• Responsible for balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations
• Liaise, coordinate with JV finance team on quarterly and ad-hoc Corporate reporting requirements
• Take charge of statutory audits and ensure compliance to other regulatory filing and reporting requirements
• Co-ordinate with service providers, regional tax teams on various indirect tax and corporate tax filings.
• Monitor and manage cash flow positions
All About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• CPA/ CA preferred.
• Knowledgeable in US GAAP is preferred
• Prior experience in Audit, with a Big Four firm
• Requires intermediate to advance skills in MS Excel. Excellent overall spreadsheet skills and comfortable working with various financial applications.
• Independent worker & thinker with the ability to follow up on time sensitive issues
• High degree of accuracy and ability to manage sensitive information.
