Job Description



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with targeted customers on new product design in and follow up with quote to win
  • Driving growth within segment
  • Driving designs wins as defined by print position
  • Optimizing Maximizing price/margin
  • Maintain and communicate industry-best understanding of technical trends driving our (and end-use) markets and competition
  • Write application notes, and co-author technical papers
  • Identify new product opportunities, and qualify, develop and champion development of our product offering (by application)
  • Identify and help to enhance the company's competitive advantage and/or barriers to entry (by product)
  • Provide technical support for sales and marketing
  • Contribute content to technical collateral materials
  • Shared responsibility for sales into a specific target market/application(s)
  • Take on the role of key technical expert for customers and sales channel
  • Write detailed specifications and application notes for new products, ideas
  • Define new products and new applications
  • Solve customer application problems in a timely manner
  • Training of sales staff, agents and distributors.
  • Other assignment as need

The Individual

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, Business, Marketing or a four-year technical degree required
  • Professional experiences in a related background (OEM or semiconductor related market as assigned) desired
  • Professional level experience of 5 years required
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 40% - 50% of the time
  • Ability to perform business correspondence, including technical writing, connectors /components / Semiconductor experience required
