Job Description

Job Summary: Create, support, research and consult on comprehensive enterprise-wide programs and policies which contribute to a best in class safety culture of employee involvement and participation, ensure a safe work environment for all employees and assure company compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes and best practices.
Role Responsibility:
  • Maintain and support safety policies and procedural changes to ensure compliance and to ensure a safe workplace is being provided by the company.
  • Evaluate current and revised safety statutes, regulations, codes and/or standards as they pertain to facilities and operations and help develop and monitor programs to ensure compliance.
  • Drive employee engagement and participation in safety programs, initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and implement programs and training for managers, supervisors and employees to promote employee awareness, build engagement in the safety program and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead or provide support for safety process improvement initiatives and special projects by working with employees, safety teams members and the leadership team.
  • Prepare and maintain safety communications.
  • Gather, sort, analyze and report safety data required for company and regulatory reporting.
  • Utilize data to plan, implement and support safety programs activities and initiatives.
  • Plan and conduct facility audits to assure regulatory compliance and to proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and safety violations.

.Experience working in an EHS role (at least 1 years)
.Familiar with the Chinese Work Safety Law
.Familiar with Provisions of Beijing Municipality on the Main Responsibility of Production Safety of Production and Business Entities
. Valid Fire control safety training
.Experience working in cross-functional teams
.Good analytical and multitasking skills
.Experience in maintaining relationships with facility providers
.Written and verbal English essential
.Good computer literacy and Microsoft office skills
. Eagerness to work in an international environment and work using own initiative
Nice to have:
. Knowledge and experience in office ergonomics requirements
. Knowledge and experience in First Aid training
. Valid Safety Officer certificate
