Job Description

The School of Pharmacy is looking for a Research Associate /
Research Assistant to join Professor Xiaoyu Yan research team.
Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree, in computer science,
physics, mathematics, statistics, or related field with four years
post-qualification experience (for Research Associate) or a Bachelor%27s degree
with at least three years%27 experience in a relevant role (for Research
Assistant) (ii) expert knowledge of R programming language (ability to write
their own functions and expert level of coding skills) (iii) excellent
communication skill in English and Chinese and (iv) the ability to work
independently and collaboratively. Experience in programming languages other
than R, e.g. Python, Javascript, Perl. Knolwedge in pharmacokinetics and
pharmacokinetic modeling is an advantage.
Duties include (a) developing R packages and application (b)
participating in research projects related to pharmacokinetic and
pharmacodynamic modeling (c) preparing publications, presentations or working
reports and (d) performing other research and administrative duties as

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
