Job Description
As an Sales Manager based in the Hong Kong office, the candidate will be responsible for running their territory as their own business. The territory covered will include Europe and China. This includes, but is not limited to: prospecting, sourcing, managing trials, negotiations, client management, client retention and renewals for the client’s product. The role provides an ideal opportunity for individuals wishing to gain an insight into the world of Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Investment Banking and the Legal Advisory world.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Selling solutions’ to new clients on a consistent monthly basis by meeting with new prospects and trials to deliver the value proposition
- Live/remote product demonstrations for prospects, trials and existing client
- Managing an existing client base whilst ensuring these clients renew their subscriptions
- Develop and cultivate relationships at the highest levels within client base and prospects
- To identify and deliver increased revenues combined with excellent service levels
- Travelling to China and Europe to build company relationships
Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven and enjoy an environment in which a positive attitude is a must. A very strong candidate would have the following attributes:
- An interest in the mergers and acquisition industry
- Previous Business Development, Sales or Account Management experience
- Experience selling in Mainland China preferred
- Experience in an outside and/or inside sales role
- Experience working with and presenting to senior level executives
- Ability to communicate in a European language (other than English) preferred
