In the position of Quality Control Specialist, you will act with safety, efficiency, quality and productivity to ensure that products and systems meet stated requirements for Robotics & Discrete Automation Shanghai China location. Reporting to the Quality control manager, you will employ various test protocols and apply standards to ensure that good quality is maintained and assist in developing test protocols to investigate the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products. This position is graded as GGS14. Your responsibilities
  • Assisting in the implementation of effective internal controls to verify that processes will meet customer and stakeholder requirements
  • Validating that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks.
  • Representing the Voice of the Customer within local teams. Challenges the teams with customer experience feedback and input to decisions.
  • Evaluating risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view
  • Utilizing ABB Group aligned systems and tools to assist the Engineering function with Product data and analysis to validate that Products continue to meet operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. Utilize APQP to assure effective introduction of new products.
  • Utilizing the local Quality Management System to provide the local teams with procedures and documentation that sufficiently describe their work activities. Lead the local teams in the application of an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness.
  • Performing audits and uses Quality data analytics from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and nonconformances within the local operations, its suppliers and customers. Quality projects Completes special quality projects, as required.
Your background
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Process Quality Control/technology in manufacturing industry/painting process.
  • Good experience in problem solving and must be capable of leading and learning
  • A bachelor's degree or above in Machinery or related majors.
  • Familiar with quality tools, have experience of 8D, control plan ,PFEAM.
  • Fluent oral and written English communication skills, CET-4 or above is preferred.
