Job Description

Purchasing Assistant (Purchasing and Support Services Section) (PR0402/20-21)
The appointees are expected to assist the Assistant Purchasing Manager in daily procurement duties such as order processing, invitations to tender, sourcing of goods and services, quotation analyses and reports preparation.
Applicants should possess:
(a) a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related disciplines with preferably two years of relevant work experience
(b) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
(c) proficiency in MS Word and Excel
(d) a strong analytical mind and sense of commitment and
(e) good initiative and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials System and qualified membership in procurement management are definite advantages.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
