Candidate will be responsible for analyzing, debugging, triaging, fixing and driving closure of modem protocol stack issues in manufacturing process, certification (GCF/PTCRB/IOT/Spirent/Lab Conformance/Carrier/Field/Regression), field performance, and new features development
○ Ability to bring innovation and strong execution to develop and optimize modem protocol performance and connectivity solutions
○ Ability to participate in verification and carrier compliance certification

BS degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, wireless communication or related fields or equivalent practical working experience
3 - year experience with 3GPP/3GPP2 standards (CDMA, EVDO, EHRPD, GSM, UMTS, LTE, LTE advanced and 5G NR)
Experience with QCOM modem, C/C++ and Embedded RTOS.
Hands-on development experience in cellular modem protocol stack
Strong development experience with wireless technologies such as CDMA, EVDO(rev.0/A), EHRPD, GSM, UMTS, LTE, LTE advanced and 5G NR.
Strong knowledge of and experience in voice (including CDMA, GW, WFC, VoLTE, ViLTE) and data call performance, system selection, call processing, and data service.
Familiarity with performance analysis, characterization and optimization. such as: Power and Performance optimizations, MIPS Optimization and Hardware Accelerators.
Strong development and domain expertise in Cellular Control or Data Plane Protocol Stack (such as: NAS, RRC, RLC, PDCP, MAC, PHY, RLP, PPP, MIP, ENDC, SDAP)
Demonstrated expertise with conformance test equipment and call
box is a plus. such as: Anritsu, CMW500, Spirent, Agilient, R&S,
Anite, Keysight for wireless telephony product verification.
