The Role Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

  • Deliver key strategic initiatives within Wealth Management business universe to drive sustainable business growth, in terms of AUM and Client Base.

  • Cooperate and implement the vision and strategy by adopting new business model and technology with Agile, and Dev Ops to identify working opportunities on innovation.

  • Keep improving and sustaining Customer Satisfaction at world class level

  • Ensure Compliance discipline within all plans and execution process.

  • To comply with their respective Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, and should report any suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager as well as directly to the Country MLPO in urgent or exceptional circumstances

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

  • Coordinate the working resources with different business streams to drive the key deliverables set in WM strategic initiatives following the project timeline.

  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks for investment projects as well for new application build-out.

  • Identify / address key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

  • Create CVP, client journey, investment and product strategy, partnership strategy and operational model for key WM initiatives.

  • Provide periodic reports in different levels of project committee to business stakeholders, regarding to latest status of project delivery.

  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, market trend and regulatory environment in which we operate.

  • Contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation through the application of standard and latest WM business model and technology.

  • Enable the organisation to manage transformational business improvements through application of technical expertise and innovation in defining solutions.

  • Create a positive impact in the organisation and across the industry by sharing knowledge and expertise with others.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Solid experience in wealth management and / or asset management business, with responsibility on investment product and investment system. Experience in wealth management subsidiary is a plus.

  • Solid experience in managing investment products in a financial institution with responsibilities for revenue, product development, investment process, investment systems and investment risk

  • In-depth knowledge of equities, bonds, unit trusts, foreign exchange & currency products, currency options, derivatives, structured investment, FoF, MoM, WM product and latest product trends.

  • In-depth knowledge on investment process and systems, including customer-technology interfaces and delivery channels.

  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment for wealth management, specifically for wealth management subsidiary business.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Agile experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Effective and efficient manner of identifying and proposing creative, innovative solutions to complex, time-critical challenges.

  • Ability to identify need for change, adaptable and flexible in anticipating and realising market opportunities.

  • Strong and effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
