HID Product Management for China market
  • Help inform and guide product roadmap decision for the HID China market
  • Ensure Chinese customer requirements are captured correctly during new product development
  • Ensure timely visibility of market trends, competitive landscape, and legislation affecting the forensic and law enforcement market
  • Remove barriers to improve communication between HID team in Oyster Point and HID team in China

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, interpret and report out about the forensic and law enforcement market including customer segments, competition, legislation and sales channels
  • Partner with Product Management, FSAG, Global Market Development and Commercial leadership to help develop the HID business strategy for the China market
  • Perform voice of customer (VOC), and define product requirements with corresponding business or financial justification
  • Act as customer advocate in Product Commercialization Process (PCP) for new products to ensure customer needs are fully understood and captured
  • Interface and partner with China commercial and marketing team to help HID achieve its business goals in China market
  • Work closely with HID global research and development, product development, and field-based teams to ensure that the requirements of the global customer base are being incorporated during product development.
  • Deploy product training to customers and internal teams to educate on new technology.

  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • Three years of market and competitive landscape knowledge in the forensic/law enforcement space
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, perform Voice of Customer, and define customer and product requirements
