Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of &lsquoAdvancement and Event Officer)
The appointee will be responsible for (a) planning and executing the Faculty&rsquos events and anniversary initiatives to achieve the mission and targets set by the Faculty (b) executing and providing support to events and programmes of various scales, including ceremonies, dinners, lectures, exhibitions, and other deliverables in excellent quality (c) liaising with different stakeholders, including vendors, schools, departments, alumni, etc. to maintain good relationships (d) preparing marketing collaterals for social media and printed publications (e) handling daily administration and operation (f) supervising and coaching the supporting staff in delivery of the Faculty&rsquos events and initiatives and (g) performing secretarial support for meetings and other duties as assigned by the team head. He/She may be required to work during non-office hours and at weekends with short notice.
Applicants should have/be (i) a recognised Bachelor&rsquos degree (ii) at least 3 years relevant work experience in marketing or event management (iii) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua) (iv) proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (v) good team spirit with strong organisational and problem-solving skills (vi) high self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as a team member to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision in a timely manner, and work under pressure in a multi-tasking environment and (vii) meticulous and observant of details, especially with data and figures.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
