Amazon is developing infrastructure aggressively to support this growth around the world, particularly in the booming cross border selling area. In this context, Amazon’s China Global Selling team currently seeks a creative, dynamic and motivated Sales Operations Manager in its China headquarters, based in Shanghai. You will be a key member of the China Global Selling Team and provide extensive support to sales and business operations. You will be responsible for data processing and analyzing relevant business data. This role exists in a challenging environment, within a fast-growing office. The ideal candidate is a seasoned business or finance manager with a background in technology or an expert in specific industry segments. S/he will have a track record of success at driving results, partnering cross functionally, and an exceptionally strong analytical thinker with a history of driving process & strategy implementation. S/he will have a strong track record of supporting/influencing marketing initiatives, tactics, plans, processes, systems, and programs. S/he will be known for accurate forecasting, building strong relationships, and analytical leadership skills, along with constructive confrontation to senior business partners. S/he will thrive in a fast paced dynamic and often ambiguous. It is also important to have solid management experience with a track record of growing and developing staff.
· Work with various business leaders, stakeholders to initiate, set goals and monitor performance for sales organization and sellers.
· Drive sales planning process, and initiate relevant KPI, program to restlessly optimize performance and efficiency for sales organization.
· Collecting and analyzing quantitative data from various data sources and presenting analysis to higher level management
· Developing, implementing and automating processes to collect and manage sales data
· Designing and maintaining metrics models and reports based on collected data
· Defining business requirements for new processes/programs across CN Global Selling and taking part in their implementation
· Drive consensus with stakeholders across different teams in China, Seattle or other locales (Europe, Japan..) on overall strategy, roadmap and deliverables.
· Work closely with both sales/business and technical/product management leaders to scope and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with our long-term objectives; ensure we are prioritizing the right initiatives.
Basic Qualifications :
· 10+ years of experience in sales, operations, finance, marketing management, business analysis within the technology sector. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions
· Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
· Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones in multiple languages (English and Chinese)
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, computer science or relevant field of study.
· Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
· Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems and data mining
· High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
· Strong bias for action, highly organized and ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines.
