Professional Services Team Consultant
We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented intern/employee who can discover multiple D&A solutions on public cloud, including data lake, data pipeline build and BI analysis etc. You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and development of enterprise D&A solutions using amazing technologies on AWS.
As a Professional Services Team Intern/Employee, you will gain hands-on experience in cloud computing, develop business acumen, and learn about Amazon's peculiar culture. You will work on projects, have the opportunity to obtain the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and attend professional development events. You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems.
The program offers the opportunity to specialize in the area of D&A - supporting our services that leverage data and produce business insights, helping our customers use and integrate Big Data services in what is arguably our industry's most exciting space. The portfolio of services covers Amazon EMR (Hadoop)Amazon Redshift (data warehouse) AWS Glue (ETL) Quicksight (BI).
For Intern, upon successful completion of the internship program, select interns will receive a full-time offer to join as an Associate Solutions Architect (which includes a twelve-month training program, known as AWS Tech U) in 2024, after completion of their degree program. This will be a full-time (38 hours/week) internship, lasting for 4-6 months. Applicants should have at a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining after their internship concludes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- GPA ( or equivalent) 3.5+
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate student who will graduate in 2023/2024
- Can work at least 4 days per week, and last for 4+ months
- Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- More than 1 year programming experience on data analytics, data engineering , not limited to Python, Java or C++
- Familiar with public cloud and architecture, hands-on experience on the cloud
- Experience to use Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to S3, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, CDK, Glue and Quicksight etc.
- Strong capabilities on business logic analysis and data analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions
- Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem-solving skills and effective communication . Good working experience on high traffic micro services
