Job Description Summary
Provide technical support to improve product quality. This position will focus on product quality through data analysis and issue resolution. This person will be responsible for driving the nonconforming material process and root cause investigation through coordination with Production Support Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities include:
. Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control. Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes. Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
. Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
. Works together with people from the business unit.
. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues.
. Communicates with direct team and supervisor.
. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
Also include:
Ownership of the NCR and MRB processes
Lead analysis of defect data and CAPA creation / resolution and maintain records as specified by the GEHC quality system
Interface with Supplier Quality on supplier related defects
Conduct root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends, and communicate with SQEs, Engineering, PSEs, and feeder plants through SABRE for resolution.
Reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory
Ownership of PSRs and PQRs
Ensure compliance through validation and verification (V&V)
Qualifications/Requirements :
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or HS diploma, OMLP preferred
2. Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes
3. Strong communication skills, verbal and written
4. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Minitab, etc

1. Green Belt Certified
2. Lean manufacturing experience
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
4. Demonstrated analytical, process management skills
