What you will do
  • Product Quality Engineering is responsible to ensure new and change product introductions, meet product quality expectation at release, that product quality is assured and improved through the lifetime of products and product quality complaints are resolved.
  • Product Quality release of new and changed products
  • Ensure Nexperia has a market orientated and updated reliability and quality standard, known to all involved in releasing new & changed products
  • Responsible for qualification of product developments for discrete/module products, Responsible for implementation of quality procedures & quality standards (Nexperia, AEC and customer specific) in the projects
  • Responsible for final test specifications and verifications
  • Support customer requests and complaint handling
  • Responsible to identify and address quality gaps in product creation process
  • Define qualification requirements & support qualification of manufacturing processes
  • Documentation and handling of data in analysis tools and evaluation wrt. Reliability, Yield, FMEA, Customer requests, etc.
  • Activities to identify root causes for yield loss or other production problems as well as the implementation of containment and corrective actions
  • Responsible for creation of the initial input for PCNs, review and issue, and support follow up activities

What you will need
  • In-depth understanding of semiconductor products and underlying technologies and associated failure modes. Knowledge of device construction, manufacturing, and test. Ability to create methods to reveal latent failure modes inside Nexperia.
  • Knowledge of international quality standards and policies e.g. AEC-Q101
  • Familiar with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments
  • Familiar with standard software tools (e.g. Office), problem solving techniques
  • Familiar with standard software tools
  • Excellent written & verbal English for international communication, good presentation skills, confident in customer & management interactions
  • Able to plan and organise personal productivity to achieve a successful balance in working on multiple activities
  • Self-motivated, driving for efficient work practices, leading quality improvements, with high quality mindset
  • Good team player, multicultural aware
  • Ability to work under pressure
