Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party selections. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 14 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.
Be compliant to tax, product and other policies in destination marketplaces are critical for the long-term success of Chinese sellers’ cross-border businesses. We’re now seeking a multi-talented, customer-centered, data-driven, deadline-oriented product marketing manager to drive compliance policies’ awareness, understanding and actions, as well as related products adoption among sellers. He/she would work closely with marketing team, product team, operation team, communications team, senior leadership team and other stakeholders in Europe and China.
Responsibilities:
· Manage compliance education roadmap and ensure contents updated and consistence
· Plan VAT-related product value proposition and unique selling points
· Plan and implement go-to-market strategies to drive VAT-related product awareness and adoption
· Create/translate marketing contents into various content tools (success stories, pitch decks, flyers, videos) for Seller engagement and education
· Create innovative and scalable marketing campaigns, including content marketing, social engagement and offline event exposures
· Identify and activate all necessary online and offline marketing channels to deliver key messages and campaigns
· Drive CN Seller insights generation for product team to optimize the product offerings
· Design and track marketing and education metrics, always seeking ways to improve
· Ongoing communications on progress and results with global and CN stakeholders
Basic Qualifications :
· Fluent in English and Chinese, especially excellent in spoken English
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience
· 6+ years demonstrated excellence in marketing, esp. product marketing, direct working experience with global teams
· Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines through process improvements and communication practices
· Ability to use hard data and metrics from disparate data sources to measure marketing performance, determine improvements and innovations
· Relentlessly high standards and an eagle eye for detail
Preferred Qualifications :
· Deal with ambiguity
· Understanding on VAT and other compliance requirements in Europe
· Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, as well as stakeholder expectations
