Job Description
Amazon is looking for a Process Expert to support its rapidly growing and evolving businesses. You will support the business by working with the colleagues who process Product compliance cases according to the regional specific regulations.
You will work directly with Amazon Operations, Retail teams, Legal and a variety of global internal businesses and outside vendors to protect customers from recalled or unsafe products. The role is within the Product Compliance team that ensures the safety of the products sold on Amazon based on internal policies and safety regulations in the targeted marketplace(s).

Key job responsibilities
1. Improves performance of operational metrics by driving projects (quality, productivity, SLA or TAT), performs structured data analysis by diving deep.
2. Drives continuous improvement projects in process and upstream fixes. Primarily works on dive deeps, root cause elimination by fixing the SOPs or small scale automation fixes under guidance.
3. Solves a customer or process problem by working with a diverse group of stakeholders (Program team, WW C-Ops teams) and managed communication on critical escalations.
4. Establishes key reporting for functional area and provides reports to senior management/ stakeholders at process level. Owns progress updates, launch announcements, brown bag sessions on solution develops.

About the team
Product Assurance was approved as a program by Product Assurance, Risk and Security in March, 2020. Based on safety and risk ranking the first population identified for execution was the Toys GL and all Toys GL would be reviewed at the ASIN level. Global Product Safety and Compliance (GPSC) owns the operational tasks related to implementing this plan. The proposed plan includes:
-Gating new ASIN listings until required documentation is received and validated
-Obtaining documentation for existing ASINs sold in our store
-Lead or participate into local and global projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

-2-5 years+ work experience in service delivery/technical support/operations/project management, ability to thrive within a fast paced metrics driven environment
-Proven record of process optimization and standardization. Able to build solutions to reduce/eliminate process defects by working with internal or external tech teams.
-Be capable of using SQL query (or equivalent) to analyze data and processes. Proven records of leading medium scale of process optimization or defect elimination
-Local and global stakeholder engagement skills, proficient Japnese written and verbal communication skill.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good English written and oral skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt.
  • Has compliance, risk experience.
