Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank&rsquos risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure
Responsibilities
  • Track competitor practices in conjunction with marketing to ensure that Consumer Finance Products in line with market developments and worked with the business to identify new partnership .
  • Ensure adequate policy, portfolio and collection management and in accordance with regulatory requirement and group policy effectively communicated across organization
  • Explore 3rd party data and in use in the managing portfolio quality and improve collection performance.
  • Use of data driven portfolio management models to devise appropriate collection intervention strategies and effective implementation of the same through collection partnership management
  • Analyze and provide early waring indictors to credit and product team based on collection feedback & delinquency performance
  • Work with partner to enhance collection productivity and effectiveness and regular review the portfolio quality , collection strategy and make recommendation enhance collection performance
  • Support advocate and legal counsel empanelment and oversight and regular monitor of legal actions and its performance
  • Manage budget planning and control to ensure loan provision and cost align with business strategy and plans
  • Review the effectiveness of risk control self assessment and ensure the system setting is in line with pre-designed process and policy and compliance with regulation
  • Provide independent review opinions for the core activities around the whole credit cycle for process optimization, resource re-allocation and system enhancement
  • Internal/External Audit and Regulator Handling
  • Act as a constant source of feedback to product and policy teams to aid in amending policies products time to time to suit the market risk.
  • Review and realign policy, process identify risk and opportunities and act accordingly to enhance governance control and policy efficiencies for on line lending business
  • Portfolio Quality monitoring and enhance Collection MIS, collaborates with legal for requisite support for recovery of delinquent compliance to ensures strict adherence to risk, compliance, and legal norms
  • Establish Credit Collection Model and design database & workflow
  • Manage Collection Projects and Build up in-house collection team to increase repayment and recovery.
  • Define, design and implement the portfolio performance monitoring framework for the organization
  • Identify and set up cost effective channels for the use of the collection organization
  • Define goals and metrics for collection agencies and track their performance
  • Work with product and credit teams to implement innovative solutions for collections
  • Manage the cost of collections within agreed budgets
  • Manage customer queries and complaints with an efficient redressal mechanism in place.
  • Set up the quality control method and control process for collection and timely review the result for improvement
  • Prepare and manage the provision and cost budget to ensure within the plan
  • Review the regulation / group policy , conduct the gap analysis, and timely compliance or raise of deviation approval if required.
  • Manage and handling the internal audit and external regulator&rsquos request

Requirements
  • Bachelor above degree in Business Management, Statistics/Mathematic//Science/ Engineering
  • 12+ years working experience on consumer lending business area
  • Fluent in both Chinse and English
  • Prefer experience of credit risk management, process control and collection management
  • Prefer experience in managing credit cycle for on-line unsecured lending business
  • Prefer relevant experience in the area of portfolio analytics and collection strategy in a retail lending organizations
  • Prefer experience in multinational companies
  • A reputation of impeccable integrity and professional ethics
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to understand the culture difference
  • Strong presentation development and delivery skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in fa st paced environment with competing priorities
  • Familiar with China regulation for consumer lending business
  • Understand modelling skills and machine learning
  • Strong analytic skill or knowledge to identify the issue and risk and able to provide solution
