Job summary
As a Partner Development Manager within AWS, you will manage the business development by recruit, enable, develop and co-sale with partners to help on their business growth and cloud transformation, co-innovate and deliver joint business value, evangelize our strategy and technology, build mind share and grow the market adoption of the AWS technology.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of enterprise, start-up and public sector business with organizations in over 190 countries around the world. Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services officially began offering developer customers access to web services - now widely known as cloud computing - based on Amazon's own back-end technology platform.

The key responsibilities include owning the Technology partner management and drive the sales conversion of the business.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background and rich sales/partners experience in IT industry especially in security area that enables them easily interact and engage partner and customers in this market area at execution and operation level. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability on think and present strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires a strong ownership and customer obsessions with working experience and knowledge of partner sales, solution sales and, cloud service landscape.

Key job responsibilities
. Recruit, develop and manage the relationship with key partners, and leverage technologies from AWS to improve partners skills and build up joint solution strategy. Help partners transform and build strong cloud business with AWS technology, and support the partners cloud business growth at both financial and the market.
. Enterprise selling background, depth of understanding of the business challenges, and help AWS related teams deal with complex customer IT environments.
. Educate and enable the sales teams and increase visibility of partners joint solutions across all relevant AWS teams.
. Co-work with AWS related teams, promote and sell joint solutions to optimize customers experience dur the journey with AWS, and help partner build up the co-sell plan and execute.
. Apply AWS APN and related partner program to support partners on co-innovation, develop solutions and co-sell.
. Build and lead to work with AWS link team and HQ organization to develop new partner collaboration model in China to accommodate China regulations and address China specific customers demand to drive incremental business for AWS


. Strong willing and love to dedicate to the next generation internet industry. Curious to learn and work on new business and able to learn new technology
. Diligent, humble, effective, simple and clear, frugal working and living behavior
. The right person must have strong customer obsession and ownership, will possess 8+ years working experience in IT industry which include minimum 4 years of solution sales and partner business development experience, deliver result and able to meet the assigned sales target. Team management skill would be a plus
. Bias of action and has good professional networking and customer/partner relationship in market, especially with security companies, experience working in international or MNC company would be a plus
. Good presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences. Enjoy and able to work in complex organization matrix and learn quick, effective present on new technology and business, good at identify, facilitate and convince customers decision maker
. Ability to think big and work creatively to develop joint value propositions on cross functions within AWS and in the ecosystem partner organization. Good balance on execution and creation

. Bachelor or above degree, MBA is a plus
. Good English communication skills is must
. 5+ years experience on ISV/SI management and sales, and 3+ years experiences in security area, with good connections to key security partner and customers in market.
. Basic technology experience on cloud computing
. highly desired.
