JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the scientific leading and support on department development in type 2 inflammation related disease area, responsible for long-term value proposition of Dupixent, responsible for the development and execution of medical strategy, design and execution of key strategic projects, to provide medical support to new and existing products in accordance with the Management's priorities and requirements, and in strict adherence to the Company's corporate policies, guidelines and requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
žIdentify top KOLs scientific needs and influence needs, Improve scientific ability and global influence
žSupport strategy development on academic improvement and disciplinary construction of department & hospital, follow on execution.
žFollow the strategy and execute on the integration of Sanofi strategic product medical development and scientific needs of related department in top centers.
žDesign and execute tailor-made scientific exchanges activities, champaign value maximization of type 2 inflammation and related disease area
žDrive China local centers to improve disciplinary construction and make scientific impact on international platform, keep cooperation with cross-function team.
Performance and KPI assessment
žInstitute level medical plan and execution elements during tailor-made program, include but not limited to frequency, coverage, academic level ladder improvement etc.
žRegular management on global and local top KOLs
žAcademic improvement assessment- top centers academic ladder, KPIs details to be defined.
Job Requirements
-Scientific ability on both in-house design and on-site execution with high level strategic thinking ability and keen on execution details at the same time.
-With good learning agility and adaptability, independent abilities on design and build up scientific platforms, abilities on insights digging and strategy generation.
-Good at project management, including planning, monitoring, perform tracking.
-Provide up to date disease and product knowledge to internal and external customers for Dupixent.
-Lead strategic medical program like COE, ADVENT and other comprehensive strategic medical program /platform design, lead Scientific exchange with local and overseas leaders and teams, make sure Internal communication and alignment, responsible for medical event execution and tracking
-Support the development and execution of medical plans to optimize product value. Actively participate in cross-functional collaboration - including medical excellence, pharmacovigillance, regulatory, clinical operations, R&D, marketing, sales and government affairs - to support integrated plans across these functions
-Provide scientific input to post-marketing clinical programs (Phase IV, registries) for Dupixent. Ensure data are scientifically valid and support the strategies, and are communicated effectively to relevant customers (reports, publications, presentation to congresses, or company sponsored events). Provide scientific support to the management of investigator sponsored studies in strict adherence to the Group's policies and guidelines.
-Provide scientific input to other key medical activities for the Dupixent or tasks, including medical information service, epidemiology/health economics/outcome research, medical education, medical publication, pharmacological etc. to support optimal execution of the medical plan.
-Closely work with regulatory and R&D to provide scientific input on unmet medical need assessment and product value proposition to ensure an optimal local registration strategy for new product and/or new indication.
-Develop and maintain permanent relations with a network of opinion leaders and experts for the Dupixent in order to maintain and reinforce the scientific position of the Group
-Provide medical and scientific support to the Company's marketing and sales activities, including input in marketing strategy from medical point of view, round tables, symposium and medical education activities, liaison with opinion leaders, scientific communications, sales training, and medical input in promotional materials and validation of their scientific integrity and compliance to the Group's procedures.
-Ensure appropriate scientific and medical compliance, governance and risk management within the framework of optimized patient centered risk/benefit in the responsible product(s) or tasks.
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Medical, master's degree or above
Experience & knowledge:
Above 3 years clinical practice, plus 3 years in medical affairs, preferably specialized in the relevant field or Above 5 years experience in medical affairs experience or in project execution function in pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
