Marketing Manager for Masters Programmes (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 508085) (to commence from as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
To cope with its strategic development and expansion, the HKU Business School is now seeking high caliber candidates to support marketing and promotion campaigns for its Masters programmes (7 specialized programmes: Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Fintech, Global Management and Marketing).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years work experience, preferably in the marketing or tertiary education sector and an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese). They should be strong team players and outcome-driven professionals with the ability to plan, implement, and execute marketing strategy for the Faculty's 7 specialized Masters programmes. They should have a sense of urgency, the ability to work independently, an outgoing personality with attention to details and self-motivation good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and IT proficiency. Previous work experience in interactive/online, social, mobile, digital advertising, email campaigns, and key social media platforms along with the ability to maximize search engine optimization and data analytics for campaign ROI evaluations is required. Knowledge of digital marketing in Mainland China would be an advantage.
The appointee will assist in different marketing and admissions functional areas with diversified duties such as marketing content development for social media channels, digital campaign execution, advertising and marketing collaterals, website updates and database management. He/She will be required to support a wide range of admissions and outreach events for Masters programmes. He/She will also play a key role in planning and implementing student recruitment events such as information sessions, admissions talks, webinars, Skype chats, fairs and campus visits to recruit quality candidates. Due to the job nature, working outside normal office hours/ during weekends and travelling outside Hong Kong will be required.
