YOUR TASKS
Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing long term strategic plan to ensure Service Partners model in a sustainable way in supporting operations to improve long term competitive edge and to maintain a right balance mix of Service Partners usage to maintain operations flexibility. You will develop, review and continuously improve service partner payment structure, resources planning, boundary design, roadmap etc to support the change of business model.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement initiatives that will ensure DHL provides market-leading service relative to our cost position
  • Develop measurement mechanism in implanting Service Quality, Service Compliance and Safety first culture in Service Partners
  • Develop performance measure mechanism to improve service quality, service compliance and safety first culture in Service Partners
  • Ensure Regional Must Dos are implemented and KPIs achieved Manage the Owner Operator System and other Service Partners in providing high quality of work while managing the operating cost at a reasonable level
  • Support for planning and implementing Operations strategies to meet service quality and cost targets
  • Provide regular Service Partner updates on actions, changes, spending trends and targets
  • Develop the Service Partner component of Annual Operating plans in tandem with the Regional strategies and ensure implementation of the plan.
  • Ensure that Service Partners aligned with DHL, meets/improves upon its regulatory and environmental obligations
  • Support and provide advice to Ground Operations to seek means by which to manage costs whilst maintaining / improving service and productivity levels
  • Work closely with Procurement to ensure that a complete and transparent vendor appointment process is in place and to manage relations with key suppliers
  • Seek for digitalization of payment verification for efficiency improvement
