Your day to day

You will be employed under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You will support the Smoke-Free Products at electronic Product Development Center (ePDC) in Hong Kong.

You will

- Handle the work with the EMS daily to achieve high level of performance, cost transparency and savings in line with the strategic goals of the organization.

- Be prepared to rapidly intervene to unblock tactical issues ensuring consistently high levels of quality and supplier management.

- Ensure EMS meets operational level goals and works with them to problem solve and raise issues in a timely manner if necessary.

- Ensure smooth operation of supply and continuous improvement/development by the EMS.

- Provide manufacturing support and trouble shooting when needed.

- Responsible for daily quality assurance and management.

- Handle risk plan and implement pre-planned mitigations when necessary to set expectations and avoid disruption to quality and supply.

- Responsible for the management of call-off facilitation activities and ensuring EMS adherence to approved vendor list.

- Must work with PMI functional experts (ex. Procurement) to support activities such as regular audits of tactical sourcing.

- Build strong and collaborative relationships with the EMS to develop a trusted relationship over time.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- University degree in Business Administration or any relevant disciplines

- MBA or Masters degree/ Procurement certification/ Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred (green or black belt)

- Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement sourcing experience & minimum 3 years of which with management experience.

- Extensive experience of operational level EMS management in an international environment. Strong leadership and managerial skills.

- Strong technical knowledge of core EMS management techniques, including planning, quality, supplier and risk management. Pragmatic and practical problem solver.

- Understand the bigger picture while focusing on the tactical level issues. Entrepreneurial attitude to consistently look for alternative solutions and better ways of working with the EMS.

- Must be a competent operator of any management tools and update them when required (ex. SAP daily).

- Experience working in a remote team and sophisticated internal collaborators network

- Proficient in English and Chinese is fundamental
