Job Description – Manager, Financial Accounting
Accountingmanager is responsible for managing Micron financial policy, procedure, reporting and control points implement effectiveness in Micron China entities; evaluate, develop, and improve the processes to increase efficiency and respond to continual changes in the business environment; provide support services to stakeholders and business partners; participate ad-hoc projects for new policy/system/program rollout. Lead a team to develop the team members.
1. Oversee the Accounting policy, close, reporting and internal controls in China entities.
-- lead and supervise Micron accounting policy, procedure, controls implementation in accounting field;
-- ensure finance reports accuracy including USGAAP and PRCGAAP;
-- Review and guide GL, FA and AP accounting treatment and reports
-- setup review and management process to guarantee IBM AP work quality and performance
-- Pass internal and external audit in terms of controls, reporting quality as well as compliance
-- Perform analysis of accounting methodologies and make decisions regarding proper accounting treatment
-- Problem solve and troubleshoot issues that arise during the close
2. Evaluate, Develop, and Improve Processes
-- Evaluate and introduce tools to increase efficiency
-- Initiate continuous improvement efforts through formal and informal data gathering and analysis
-- Develop processes in response to changes in the business environment
-- Provide Support Services to Stakeholders
-- Analyze global alignment of policies and processes and make recommendations
3. Supervise and Develop Team Members
-- Complete performance management tasks for all direct reports
-- Conduct regularly meetings to provide coaching, direction, and review of team goals and performance
-- Identify strengths and create specific development plans to improve cross-functional skills
-- Schedule necessary trainings for team member development and position succession plan
-- Ensure communications within the team are clear and thorough
-- Establish and maintain cooperative and productive work relationships
-- Provide recognition and drive accountability
About Micron Technology, Inc.
- Bachelor degree or above major in accounting or auditing
- 3 years above team leader experience in foreign companies; worked in semi-conductor companies is preferred.
- China accountant qualification is must.
- CPA certificate or 3 years above working experience in big 4 audit firm is preferred.
- Master the PRCGAAP and USGAAP as well as SoX acts in internal control perspective
- Fluent oral communication, reading and writing skill in English
- SAP professional skill
- Cooperation and collaboration spirit
- Trouble shooting and Problem solving skill
- Work under pressure
