Role Responsibilities

The Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Responsible for SCB CN digital lending risk appetite setting up, on general and specific to each product. Formulize the risk management framework needed to support a healthy growth of digital asset. Develop a full set of methodology on risk decision and portfolio monitoring which enables a timely and forward- looking management of a digital loan portfolio.


Business

  • Support the digital lending of various retail products, including personal loan, business banking customers instalment loan, supply chain finance, etc. Prior experience in credit card, personal loan, business banking instalment loan are preferred. Consumer lending experience is a must.


Processes

  • Deep understanding of the digital lending process keep updated of the state of the art technology and digital lending tools, able to tell the risk impact and set up proper risk defence with efficiency in consideration.


People and Talent

  • Able to work in bilingual environment. Focused, work with efficiency and speed, being agile. Good leadership and negotiation skills are required. Hands on work style and down to earth attitude are required.


Risk Management

  • Analytical background in risk world. Knows how to articulate data for the purpose of risk management. Prior credit risk management experience on personal lending is a must. Need to deeply understand the credit risk management philosophy and all the KPIs we drive for. Experience in both traditional finance industry and Fintech industry is preferred.


Governance

  • Fully aware the importance of respecting regulator, and respecting risk management. Knows about the full picture of risk management. Knows about the environment a bank is supposed to be operating in.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
