Amazon Business is Amazon's response to tackle this incredible opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base. We are focused on building solutions that enables the B2B customer to find, research, and buy products and services from a vast selection, across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between). Our B2B customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer so we are reinventing everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience.

We are looking for a team leader with open mind, strong learning ability and good performance record. He/she will lead the East China team to expand Amazon Business in China. Through collaboration with internal cross-teams and external partners, he/she and the team need to provide local sellers with high-quality service and achieve business goals. He/she needs to focus on industry cluster development in the related regions, to recruit local manufacturers and brands owners that suitable for Amazon Business, and provide consultant services for them to complete the onboarding process and further growth after launch. He/she will have chance for innovation, to explore new business development methods, to pilot it then summarize experience and scale to more regions.

Key job responsibilities
Role and Responsibility
1. Overall develop allocated regions new seller recruitment strategy and lead team to achieve business goals
2. End to end take care of local regions Amazon Business awareness, leads generation, conversion, and seller growth, take responsibility for seller recruitment and seller success
3. Explore business development methods, optimize and maximum team efficiency from channels, mechanisms, workflow, tools development, etc. perspectives
4. Organize internal cross-team (Regional Development, Marketing, etc.), external partner and global stakeholders collaboration, leverage these resources to drive Amazon Business success
5. Lead regular and ad-hoc business deep dive and analysis to generate strategic insights and support management decision
6. Manage additional projects to accelerate business growth and create positive impact on Amazon Business.
7. Advocate on behalf of Sellers and other external stakeholders to influence product roadmap, lead generation, integration process, and reporting activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6-8 years relevant experience in the Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce or related industries, with a proven track record of business development ability
  • Track record of managing team effectively
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experienced in using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Proficiency in oral and written English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • Experience of E-Commerce and sales background are preferred
  • Track record of successful project management preferred
