Job Description

Key Responsibility

  • Manage cloud platforms.

  • Establish cloud governance framework and practices.

  • Infrastructure design.


  • Work as a technical role on cloud technical solution formulation and management activities.

  • Collaborate with Architect, Development, DevSecOps, QA, Operations, Finance and Infrastructure teams consists of both onshore and offshore teams to maintain high-quality deployment.

  • Establish cloud governance framework, structure and policies.

  • Implement, document and share technical best practices, insights, standard operation procedure establishment on OpenShift and Azure Cloud resource provisioning, maintenance activities.

  • Work with Scrum Master to support JIRA ticket prioritization (technical perspective).

  • Contributing to DevSecOps development and relevant works.Identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Managing Cloud related budget and cost estimation.

  • Defining high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Executing technical feasibility assessments, solution estimations and proposal development for Cloud Transformation and Application Modernization to Microsoft Azure

  • Lead and mentor medium to large d teams in the migration / modernization workloads or implementations of application and services to the cloud in large enterprise environments

  • Perform any ad-hoc projects as assigned.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 10+ year's relevant working experience in administrating and supporting Microsoft Azure, Redhat OpenShift, IT system and infrastructure, with 3+ years in management role.

  • Experience of managing Cloud infrastructure in a enterprise / FI will be an advantage.

  • Solid experience in containerization and container orchestration tools e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AKS and registry management tools.

  • Hands-on experience on CNCF technologies, Helm, Argo CD, Istio/LinkerD, ELK, Harbor, Prometheus.

  • Strong agile and CI/CD exposure and understand software development process.

  • Experience in automation and configuration management.

  • Hands on and working knowledge on Bash scripting. Other language like Windows, Ruby, Python are welcome.

  • Familiar with database technologies: Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis

  • Experience on DevOps toolsets, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Artifactory, etc.

  • Experience in programming languages: NodeJS / Java / MuleSoft ESB/Kong API gateway will be advantage.

  • Proficiency in IAM, OAuth, OpenID, AD DS, LDAP, ADFS and SAML.

  • Azure Cloud Professional certification is highly preferred.

  • Think outside the box, be innovative and with a can-do attribute.

  • Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.

  • Passionate about new technology, motivate and fast-learner.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
