Laboratory Assistant in the School of Nursing (Ref: 508171) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, IT proficiency, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Experience in inventory management system and handling equipments in a nursing clinical laboratory and simulation training centre would be advantages.
The appointee will provide support to the operations and maintenance in a nursing clinical laboratory and the School's state-of-the-art simulation training centre prepare nursing skills equipment for laboratory teaching activities assist in procurement of equipment, operation of electronic devices, record keeping and data entry and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
